How do you highlight specific words in a document?
Type them in the word box, separated by commas, then paste your text or open the file. The highlighter matches whole words and phrases and ignores case, so "QA" finds "QA" and "qa" but never the letters inside "aquarium".
People use it to find every mention of a product before a label change, every equipment ID in a cleaning SOP, or every place a CFR section an auditor asked about appears in a stack of procedures.
What word lists do GMP reviewers use?
Copy any of these into the word box as a starting point:
| List | Words to paste into the highlighter |
|---|---|
| Document control | effective date, revision, supersedes, approved by, review date, controlled copy |
| Deviation and CAPA | deviation, root cause, CAPA, effectiveness check, impact assessment, batch disposition |
| Laboratory | OOS, OOT, system suitability, reference standard, retest, invalidated |
| Cleaning and environment | swab, rinse, residue, bioburden, endotoxin, environmental monitoring |
| Equipment and computer systems | calibration, qualification, IQ, OQ, PQ, audit trail, backup |
Does my document get uploaded?
No. Your browser does all the work. The text you paste and the file you open stay on your computer, the checker reads them in memory, and closing the tab wipes them. Atlas never receives a word of it.
We also switched off session recording and analytics on the tool itself, so nothing you type reaches a tracking script. You can check this yourself: open the network tab in your browser's developer tools, run a check, and watch nothing leave. Your company's rules on where confidential documents can be opened still apply.
